The Joinery Shop is the architectural woodworking arm of Gloucester Builders. We build custom cabinetry, doors, and architectural millwork — and carry out historical restoration — for the same academic, life sciences, and institutional clients GBI serves, plus their architects, designers, and private homeowners.

Built‑in and freestanding casework — drawn, engineered, and built in‑house to match the site conditions and design intent.
Custom Doors
Interior and entry doors — stile‑and‑rail, flush, paneled, matched to historic profiles or contemporary detailing.
Architectural Millwork
Trim, paneling, built‑ins, wall systems, and library fit‑outs for institutional and private interiors.
Historical Restoration
Refinishing and rebuilding of period woodwork — doors, windows, casework, and moulding profiles — repaired or replicated.
